What do you get when a woman whose maiden name is BLUE hires a photographer named SEA? A maritime maternity shoot of course! I met up with Lauren and John on a warm summer night at North Avenue Beach, and we had the most fabulous and laughter-filled time creating images to mark this special time in their lives. Lauren is spectacularly radiant both inside and out, and she and her handsome husband John are completely devoted to and amused by each other. They were both up for trying anything during the shoot and completely excited to make beautiful photographs, but the best part of the shoot was knowing that a baby was soon going to be the beneficiary of all of this couple's love, humor and gorgeousness! I truly was enamored of them, and I have to admit that as the sun went down and Lauren and John set of to enjoy a dinner downtown, I wanted to tag along too! It was a wonderful compliment to receive a text from them later that night saying that they had had so much fun at the shoot and could not stop talking about how great it was at dinner. And in just a few weeks, I would get to see them again and meet their new baby...
