I adore red year round, but it seems particularly appropriate to share this gallery design idea with you just before Valentine's Day. Featured in January's Elle Decor, this home gallery was created by interior designer Steven Gambrel. He lined an otherwise black and white hallway with black and white family photographs housed in lipstick red frames. It's divine. You can achieve a similar look (but with your own favorite accent color!) with Sea Grandon Photography custom framing. I have loads of gorgeous high end frames that will dazzle you. Or, you could try these bright metal frames from Exposures. I have never used them myself, but the colors are fun--they have red-- and the price is right. I particularly like that they have a size that accommodates an 11x14 photograph, which is just the perfect size for a hallway gallery like the one pictured.
